67 Lopaus Point

Welcome to our house on quiet Lopaus Point Road in Bernard, on Mount Desert Island.

We fell in love with the house because it is a minute from the beach, and because of the beautiful views of the ocean through the trees from all the front windows. The house is located in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood, within walking distance of the small town of Bernard and a just short walk away from a stopping point for the free summer bus service around Mount Desert Island. 

About the House

The house is a comfortable, three-bedroom family home, with a fully-equipped kitchen, full and three-quarter bathrooms, dining room, family room and den - everything you need for vacation.  And if you have to work while enjoying your time here, there is also a small office area and wireless network access to the Internet.

We are close to Acadia Natinal Park, with access to hiking and biking trails, and lakes for canoeing and kayaking.  There are plenty of great restaurants in nearby Southwest Harbor (10 mins) and the larger town of Bar Harbor (a 30-minute drive).

Back Beach

Enjoy beautiful Back Beach just a minute's walk from the house. 

Bernard

Walk to the working lobster pier in nearby Bernard.



Rental Rates
